My Degree

My degree is made up of a combination of classes I took before starting the Multidisciplinary Program and a few additional courses I was able to take after that point.
As part of my biochemistry degree, I took a range of science courses.
  • Molecular and General Genetics
  • Organic Chemistry
  • Cell Biology
  • Physiological Psychology
  • Analytical Chemistry
  • Experimental Biology Lab
  • Sensation and Perception
  • Evolution of Sex
  • Cognitive Psychology
I also took several classes outside of my degree that were valuable learning experiences as well.
  • Visual Concepts
  • Gender and Inequality
  • Race and Ethnic Relations
After switching my major, I was able to take classes more related to science outreach.
  • Technical Writing
  • Science Writing
  • Human Context of Science and Technology
  • Internet Video Production
Together these classes give me a solid scientific background and the skills to communicate in written, visual, and video format.
